WHILE WE DO NOT ALLOW VISITORS TO THE DANGERS OF PARVO AND FOR OUR SAFETY, WE DO NOT MIND FACETIMING OR DOING A ZOOM CALL. JUST LET US KNOW AND WE WILL GET IT SCHEDULED.

OUR PROMISE AS RESPONSIBLE BREEDERS IS THAT NO WWC PUPPY WILL EVER LIVE IN A SHELTER OR BE HOMELESS. WE REQUIRE THAT ALL PUPPIES/DOGS FROM WWC ARE TO COME BACK TO US TO REHOME OR THEY ARE WELCOME TO "COME BACK HOME" TO WWC FOREVER.

OUR PUPPIES ARE ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES SO NO DISTANCE IS AN OBSTACLE. HERE'S HOW WE CAN GET YOUR CORGI PUPPY TO YOU:
Health Testing
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) - "Degenerative myelopathy is often abbreviated as DM and is a disease that affects the white matter of the spinal cord. With DM, this part of the spinal cord starts to break down, or degenerate, and results in weakness of the hind limbs that eventually progresses to paralysis."
Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) - "Von Willebrand's disease (vWD) is the most common inherited bleeding disorder of both humans and dogs. It is caused by a deficiency in the amount of a specific protein needed to help platelets (the blood cells used in clotting) stick together and form clots to seal broken blood vessels."
Exercised Induced Collapse (EIC) - Exercise-induced collapse is a genetic neuromuscular disorder characterized by muscle weakness, lack of coordination, and life-threatening collapse after intense exercise in otherwise apparently healthy dogs."
Cone-Rod Dystrophy 3 (PRA-crd3) - "Atrophy means the partial or complete wasting or deterioration of a body part. Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) is a group of degenerative diseases that affect photoreceptor cells. With this disease, the cells deteriorate over time, eventually leading to blindness in the affected dog."
Please note: most Corgis do carry at least ONE copy of one of these listed, however, they are not AT RISK. Make sure with your breeder that the parents health testing is compatible with each other so your puppy won't carry two copies (two copies means AT RISK). No puppy by us will ever be affected for any of these diseases.

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COATS IN THE PEMBROKE WELSH CORGI - STANDARD AND FLUFFY. MOST CORGIS ARE STANDARD, HOWEVER SOME CARRY THE FLUFFY OR LONG HAIRED GENE. THIS IS A RECESSIVE GENE AND YOUR CORGI WOULD NEED TWO COPIES TO BE A "FULLY AFFECTED FLUFFY".
THERE ARE ABSOLUTLEY NO HEALTH CONCERNS WITH LONG HAIRED CORGIS. YOU MAY SEE WHERE THEY ARE NOT BREED STANDARD OR CONSIDERED A "FAULT" IN THE BREED. THIS IS ONLY BECAUSE WHEN THE AKC STANDARDS WERE MADE, THE LONG HAIR WAS NOT DESIRABLE FOR FARMERS AND RANCHERS (TO HERD CATTLE). WHILE YOU CAN'T SHOW YOUR FLUFFY CORGI IN THE AKC SHOW RING, YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE IN OTHER EVENTS.

Other important information..
VACCINATIONS
Each puppy will come home with a very detailed health record and Health Guarantee enclosed in their puppy kit. Please take the health record to your vet when you go in for your puppy’s first check-up.
MICROCHIP
While each puppy will go to their new home with a microchip, it is the new owners responsibility to get it registered with their information.

APPLICATION
Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to the total purchase price of your puppy. The remaining balance will be due when your puppy is ready to go home!
When we receive your online application, we will contact you to discuss exactly what you want in your family companion or working dog. We will ask you a lot of questions about your home and family, and how you expect your puppy to fit in. Will your dog be training as a service or therapy dog? Does anyone have allergies? What activities are your family involved in? Do you have a fenced in yard?
Once we’ve agreed on the ideal personality, lifestyle, and physical characteristics of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, we then evaluate our currently available puppies for a potential match. If there are no ideal matches, you will then be added to the appropriate puppy waiting list.

WAITLIST
If we do not have a puppy that is exactly what you’re looking for at the time of your application, then you will be placed on our waiting list until the expected litter is born.
This guarantees that we are offering you the right color, gender, and generation. Due to the high demand for our Pembroke Welsh Corgis, you could expect a wait before your puppy is born. It may take a little longer for specefic colors or other special requests, in which case we will advise you.
When a litter of puppies are born they are first offered to matching families on the waiting list, before they go on our Available Puppies page. If there are no puppies on the available puppy page, it just means that all of the puppies we have are already matched with a family on the waiting list.

AVAILABLE PUPPIES
Our Available Puppies are our puppies that our waitlist did not pick. That doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with them, it may have just not been the right time, or we had exactly what our families were looking for! If you're new to WWC and are looking at our Available Puppies page first, we will still need for you to fill out our application and go through our screening process.
